PORRA, KLN BJJ!!!
Copa KLN 2 has successfully ended on last Sunday. I think we did more than excellent job with what we have in our hand.
Also all the KLN warriors showed tuff heart during the matches. Most of you are training less than few month and most of other fighters have longer experiences than you. Amount of training really lead you to improvements, so if you are motivated from the competition, lets train harder for the next one!!
All the volunteers who did magnificent help, really x 2 thanks! Especially guys helped out to do referee, we are so appreciated of your support (The most stressful job in BJJ)!! Also, thanks to Hoin (AKA lover boy) for organising and running the event.
The official result is to be announced on coming Wed.

Matthew : Blue belt Medio Champion

KLN BJJ - the amusement park!!
Last Saturday, we had a small party (Planned on the day, sorry for no previous announcements) in the KLN BJJ and we had lots of fun! It was amazing to see how KLN BJJ turned into "Children's amusement park", haha.

Xandinho Seminar
Alexandre "Xandinho" Izidro is in town till this Monday and is holding aseminar this coming Saturday afternoon, so please send to your members onwho would be keen to come and join us for the afternoon.
Cost is 500hkd for 2hours session or 900hkd for the full 4hours.

We have been successfully booked a venue in Sham Sui Po on 6th (Sun), Dec, 09 from 18:00 t0 22:00 for intra-club competition. Please be prepared, draft schedule is as follows.
17:30~18:00 - Weigh in
18:00 ~ 18:30 - Setting up mats and rule meeting
18:30 ~ 21:45 - Competition (GI Only)
* Since we only have around 3 hours to run the matches, we might have to limit no of entries. More solid information to be announced soon.

He is just an excellent fighter, teacher and a humble person... 
Prof. Gilbert Durinho from Atos JJ is visiting KLN BJJ on 5th and 6th of Nov. Tonight (Friday, 6th) will be No GI class. Members, you can't miss his class, he is so technical and his explanations is really clear. For sure even beginners can enjoy his classes. This is BJJ!!

ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN JAPAN - CBJJE
There will be 1st Asian BJJ open by CBJJE (Used be CBJJO) in Japan, November.
CBJJE is mainly organised by Nova Uniao and its the 2nd biggest BJJ federation in the world.
Excellent thing about the organisation is they will provide cash prizes for color belt absolute tournament. Sounds more professional than other competitions around. Also, by entering the tournament, you can get free ID from CBJJE.
Anyway, following is the details and link you can study more about the comp. If you need some help on registration etc... speak to Taki or Kei.

The last week of September 2009 was really an excellent 7 days for KLN BJJ.
We had Ken from Angra Tokyo, Prof. Ikuta from Trust Jiujitsu and Makoto Ogasawara from Taiwan BJJ! Thank you very much for teaching us and your friendship.
We are a bit confused at the moment coz we were taught too many techniques and concepts in such a short period! KLN guys, I have taken movies and notes, so lets train together and make sure to try all of the techniques. We have enough homework to fulfill rest of the year!!
Also, Macau trip with about 20 members were so much fun!!! (but really tired...). Reminded a high school activity, haha!! Thanks Gus for organising AOW event and providing special arrangement for us!
Oh, remember. We'll have "Rodo" from this week!
